Generate, print, and share timer QR codes

Every timer in Remote Timers has a QR code that opens its live public display. Generate it from the dashboard, download it as an image, and print it at the lane, bay, or room — anyone who scans it watches the same synced countdown on their own phone, view-only.

  1. Open the timer's QR code

    In the hub dashboard, use the QR action on the timer's row. The code is generated on the spot and always points to that timer's public URL.

  2. Pick a style

    Choose the QR style you prefer — you can set a default QR style in settings so every code you generate matches your look.

  3. Download and print

    Download the image or print it directly. Laminate a copy at each lane or room so guests can self-serve the countdown without asking staff.

Where QR codes work best

Lane-side signs at axe throwing venues, bay plaques in golf sims, waiting-area posters for rage rooms, and pre-session briefings in escape rooms. Because the display is view-only, there's no risk in guests having the link — nobody can change the clock but you.

Common questions

Can someone with the QR code control my timer?

No. QR codes open the public view-only display. Starting, changing, or resetting the timer requires your dashboard login.

Does a new QR code break the old printed ones?

No — a timer's QR code always encodes that timer's URL, so reprinting with a new style doesn't invalidate older prints of the same timer.
